Relevant Experience:

 Minimum 5 years of Internal Audit, compliance or other related field experience with minimum 02 years in managerial role.

Education:

CA/ACCA/CMA/CIMA or any similar.

Job Description:

• Carry out pre-audit of all the invoices and payment vouchers emanating from Islamabad, Peshawar & Quetta offices under Community Health Directorate (CHD) project and report back shortcomings to Senior Manager, Internal Audit.
• Monitor the operational activities of CHD projects based in Islamabad & Peshawar, Quetta and other districts and report back the observations to Senior Manager Internal Audit.
• Conduct visits for review of program reports at different locations of Peshawar & Quetta as and when directed by the supervisor.
• Prepare reports on the audit of the operational activities of different departments as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Review the progress of the audit assignment on a regular basis to ensure its effective and efficient completion.
• Carry out regular follow-up with departments within CHD to update implementation status of prior audit reports from time to time.
• Supervise examination and analysis of records to ensure the effectiveness, accuracy of transactions, and compliance with applicable laws and established policies and procedures.
• Carry out any other assignments as directed by the supervisor from time to time
• Mentor and train subordinates to bring efficiency in their work and enhance their audit skills.
• Develop and maintain contacts with departmental heads on an ongoing basis by meeting people, to create better relationship and trust.
• Conduct performance appraisal of the relevant audit staff.

Assist Senior Manager(s) in:

• Development of Annual Audit Plan and maintain audit documentation.
• Development of standard procedures as and when required for carrying out audit activities efficiently and effectively.
• Special Investigations and reviews.
